Zangersheide horses height and build vary depending on the individual’s parentage. All Zangersheide horses are bred for performance, first-rate confirmation and excellent health.
History
The stud farm Zangersheide is located in a district of Belgium, called Lanaken. The stud farm began as a showjumping yard in the 1970s and later turned in to a stud farm. The creators of the Zangersheide horses saw the need to develop an elite horse, specifically for the sport of showjumping. The official Zangersheide stud book started in 1992.
